Cheesy Stuffed Burgers

This cheesy sign was a big deal. The graphics are a combo of inkjet printed vinyl and solid red vinyl adhered to cnc router-cut parts of 3/4″ PVC board. The hat, bow-tie, fingers and letters are double-stacked for 1.5″ thick. These parts are attached to heavy duty 1/4″ ACM aluminum background panels, also cnc router-cut. Both asymmetrical sides attach to a frame of welded 2″ aluminum tubes. This frame bolts through the metal siding, then the brick and behind the wood timbers of the building. It became surprisingly heavy and required stamped engineering. I modified the original lettering by smoothing and re-shaping the paths to make them a less funky version.
